Requirements
7 to 10+ years of strong experience in design or a similar field
Experience across multiple industries such as Entertainment & media, Insurance, Banking & Finance, Consumer goods, life sciences,
Demonstrable skills in range of expertise from Design Project management, User Research, moderator ship, research data mining, inferences, Information Architecture, high fidelity Wire framing to detailed end‐user Usability Testing with eye-trackingtesting experience
Ability to outline strategies for UI design concepts and development across multiple mobile platforms and devices
Excellent understanding of User Centered Design process and its implementation in differentdomains including Mobile, Web, and GUI
Demonstrable skills in working on mobile Websites, mainstream Web applications, Websites, Intranets, user research, usability testing, information architecture, user interface design and various designmethodologies
A scrappy, entrepreneurial attitude that gets high-quality projects done quickly
Knowledge and experiences on how people interact with different platforms and environments
Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and vision (not just \'how it should look\' but \'what we should build\'). Must have a portfolio featuring examples of interaction design
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (you should be able to clearly articulate your design decisions)
Pixel perfect attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable to achieve our 50m subscriber goal.
Conduct Usability research planning & testing moderation, Heuristic evaluation, and Strategic innovation, Contextual inquiry, Shadowing, Ethnography, FGI, FGD, Ethno, DI User preference survey, Data mining & consolidation
Develop broad concepts into ubiquitous, incredibly elegant flows and experiences for multiple screens and devices e.g. Web, mobile, tablet, game console, setup and car etc.
Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product team
Give and solicit open and honest feedback as part of the design process
Partner with product managers, engineers, and the design manager to oversee the user experience of a product area from conception to launch (and then some)
Senior member of the user experience team, establish process; recruit, guide, build and mentor the team
