Job Position : Strategic Operation Director

Job Description :

Work closely with current manufacturing team and manage appointed external vendors and Indian regulatory organizations to on-time and within pre-approved budget execute plans to
•Consolidate manufacturing factories to one single location
•Complete new factory build
•Complete execution of appropriate manufacturing and product license transfer

Design and implement manufacturing excellence on time and within budget
•Co-ordinate with appropriate resources to implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, S&OP and production planning
•Lead program to train and upgrade local team skills set
•Ensure manufacturing is able to maintain COGS at current percent of sales
•Enable expansion of manufacturing capacity in line with commercial plans

Manufacturing support for new products
•Co-ordinate with appropriate cross-functional resources across Global Operations and manufacturing to provide necessary manufacturing support for new products launched by Company.
•Lead manufacturing on relevant technology transfer projects

Requirements
•Proven, demonstrated experience in project management and operational transformation
•Strong bias towards keeping operating expenses low with proven track record of delivering low COGS
•Exhibits excellent communication skills, while working with cross-functional teams, in order to achieve desired results
•Experience leading and working with internal and external teams (suppliers) through end-to-end projects in a matrix organization setting
•Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills including familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
•Good understanding of IFDA requirements and medical device manufacturing regulations
•Requires the ability to understand, interpret and follow Quality Management Systems
•Knowledge of the QSR (especially Design Control & Process Validation) preferred
•Experience in Design to Cost preferred
