Project Organization
Plans and controls very complex portfolios of projects where some milestones will be considered immovable. Defines risk strategies, approaches and tools. Identifies and manages risks, issues and assumptions on portfolio of complex projects, where risks include political and/or reputational damage. Manages seamless handover of the project outputs that are accepted by the client and/or standing organization. Responds quickly to new and unexpected demands from customers or actions from the competition. Supports others in adjusting to change.
Delivery Management
Demonstrates ability to think quickly and re-direct large projects to achieve the desired business benefits. Efficiently engages with senior stakeholders to agree/influence strategy, directing complex projects and maximize benefits. Directly influences senior stakeholders to maximize Organisation’s commercial position and client value.
Presents new ideas/views that provide a breakthrough for existing contexts, utilizing own/others’ ideas. Is able to judge complex risk analysis and translate to possible solutions. Has a clear vision on factors that influence strategic decision making, initiating/driving development of innovative products and services, whilst learning from previous efforts. Job Description
•Do for key customer/project and support/coach projects managers for other projects.
•get the information from a customer/prospect about his need.
•challenge the customer requirements to optimize the overall benefits for the company (understand the “root” need behind what is communicated, reusability of existing assets etc)
•design the high level suitable technical solution
•estimate the total effort in person days for the company to fulfil the final requirement
•estimate the schedule (milestones + internal/external dependencies) to deliver the project considering the resources in your teams and the customer’s expectation.
•Support sales teams to sell the project (cost & schedule) to the customer/prospect
•Visit the customer to get the planned approval on the projects stages, to follow up the project progress, to manage the dependencies etc.
•Organize and implement the required priority management between projects and deliveries
•Maintain a global internal Excel reporting with all ongoing or planned projects for the next 12 months
•Ensure the development of the projects in the estimated budget and targeted quality.
•Challenge and control your teams on all the key aspects of their deliveries
•Ensure, internally, the billing and the payment of each milestones of a project.
•After the delivery, when the built system is live in our data centres, check the quality of the assumptions given by the sales team in the corresponding business plan Implement and monitor a continuous improvement plan Be an example for your employees
Skills
•Strong people/talents management capabilities
•Strong analytical capabilities
•Strong end to end IT experience in projects : from the IT design phase of the software development to the supervision of the corresponding system in the datacentre
Target
•Manage a team of 100 software developers involved in many projects in parallel to meet the technical, functional, financial and quality targets
Qualification
•BE/ B Tech + MBA (mandatory)
