Job Description :
The candidate will be an Architect and manage development, deployment and support of the Microsoft SharePoint Platform and related Microsoft technologies or Solutions.
He/ She will lead all the aspects of the platform and the application design of the SharePoint systems and infrastructure, and ensure best practice principles are applied.
The incumbent will act as single point of contact for business users to work through their requirements for SharePoint solution development.
He/ She will act as both the systems architect, designing solutions across the infrastructure and SharePoint enabled applications, as well as a hands-on technical engineer in support of implementing the solutions and providing support.
The Incumbent will own and manage the best practice development/deployment of the applications in the SharePoint domain, and drive best practice delivery and support.
Apart from SharePoint, this role is expected to be highly proficient in all Microsoft technologies and provide additional support & consultation for all the other Microsoft Technologies implementations in Company.
This is a key position in evolving the SharePoint environment with significant platform growth year on year.
The role will manage the merging of document management capabilities from Documentum to SharePoint, incorporating the associated infrastructure platform and SharePoint systems capabilities; the ongoing growth in collaboration capabilities built on the platform; My Site management; Corporate Intranet platform and application architecture and support; and governing oversight of the capacity management and system architecture growth planning.
Own Services and manage the outsourced operation team to ensure Applications availability, Support for users, SLA adherence and review performance.
Be a Technical advisor to business on what SharePoint can offer out of box diagnose and map business requirements.
Technical team lead for all development projects ensuring top quality delivery and best practices are followed.
Establish Governance plan and ensure adherence across SharePoint community.
This role will also be responsible for managing the training needs for SharePoint across the organization.
Activities
Solution design, sizing, costing, planning
Ensure development lifecycle compliance
Run POC and product evaluations
Develop and maintain platform and application best practice operating plans with support teams (maintaining full lifecycle of product with continual upgrade/refresh program)
Investigate, validate and lead engagement of any third party system integrators on MS applications
Validate 3rd parties in technical alignment to organization requirements
Lead engagement from Technical and project alignment perspective
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a related engineering or IT technology discipline
Current MSCE qualification.
Microsoft Certified in Moss is preferred.
Microsoft Certified Master: preferred
Microsoft Certified Architect: optional
Experiance
5+ years Architect/Solution design experience on SharePoint & Microsoft Technologies.
3 year working experience with SharePoint 2010 & 2013
5 years Microsoft application development/deployment experience including .NET, C#
etc.
high level of experience designing and working with web content management applications
Experience in Document Management systems and migration to SharePoint is preferable.
5 years systems infrastructure design
Strong hands on experience in complex Microsoft Exchange enterprise environment. Candidate should have experience in handling exchange servers of 2010 & 2013 independently.

Experience on Configuring and Administration of High Availability environment for Exchange Services
Provide administration and engineering support for all messaging related projects such implementing new system or process.
Clear understanding of SQL & SharePoint DR.
Deep understanding of Exchange troubleshooting on mail flow troubleshooting , Transport Dumpster , CAS / Edge Certificates , ExBPA , Eseutil , DAG Configurations , DAG Resume/Suspend , DAG failover across sites.
Should have knowledge about front end/back end, OWA, RPC/HTTP and active sync configuration.
Configuration of exchange policies and Email routing.
Responsible for initial design and development of new software or extensive software revisions.
Provides architectural oversight on products. An expert in database development.
Strong experience in Database programming. Relevant experience in T-SQL.
Design and implementation using SQL Server 2005 & 2008, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS.
Past experience in developing Business Intelligence solutions using SQL Server.
Design database architecture (2 dimensional/ multidimensional) for client projects which include ecommerce sites, intranets, extranets, software applications, and data warehouses In depth knowledge in Planning and Designing of Lync environment
Expertise in Microsoft based solutions primarily Lync (IM, Conferencing and Enterprise Voice) and SQL
Expertise in building High Availability, DR and BCP Solution for Lync Pools
Expertise in Plan and Design for different scalable users base Lync environment
Should be able to differentiate / identify the features among various versions of Microsoft products
Architectural knowledge in other IP PBX product sets like Cisco Call Manager, Avaya, Audio Codes and its integration.
Good knowledge in SBA, Gateways, SBC (Session Border Controller)
Good working knowledge on Dial Plans
Migration from legacy or third party to Lync 2013.
Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Networking, SQL, PKI and IIS concepts.
Experience in troubleshooting issues both at the client and server side.
Experience of integration among the Microsoft solutions, and integration with other third party products.
Should have experience in deployment of the Microsoft based solutions primarily Lync.
