Job Description :
Responsibilities include:
Providing pre and post-sales support in proposing and designing solutions to meet customers business and technical requirements in the areas of Web Caching, On-Demand Streaming and Live Streaming.
Developing and conducting strategic and effective demonstrations, presentations and customer training.
Post Sales Technical Key Account Management to help ensure 100% Customer Satisfaction/up-sell and cross-sell
Facilitating and managing communication between project/product team members and customers essentially to provide input to Product management and product development (key customer requirements)
Organizing and managing interdepartmental activities and resources to complete projects according to agreed specifications within defined budgets and time constraints
Required Qualifications:
Service Level Management projects are collaborative efforts that bring together individuals with a variety of skills in several areas of Internet and e-commerce performance; no single consultant is expert in all areas. The specific technical skills and experience we are seeking in applicants for the current open position are:
• 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Support or Technical Consultant in the application or network performance management space
• At least a Bachelor degree in a technical discipline
• Working knowledge of Streaming & Web page design and technologies (Streaming Protocols, RTSP, RTMP, MMS, HLS etc. along with HTML, Java Scripting, element types), Web server applications and servers, networking technologies.
• Familiarity with the typical processes, tools, and activities involved in systems performance measurement, performance testing, application performance troubleshooting and diagnosis, and performance tuning
• Basic understanding of infrastructure architectures and network topologies, and familiarity with TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SSL, BGP and other Internet protocols and their performance characteristic along with knowledge of (LAN, broadband, dial-up architectures/characteristics), and network concepts and equipment (switches, routers, caches, traffic distributors, firewalls)
• Strategic thinker with sales intelligence, a strong presence and the ability to create, influence, and drive customer vision
• Effective writing skills; ability to support the development of technically focused, solutions-oriented sales proposals
• Exceptional corporate presentation, and relationship–building skills
• Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to work well both independently and as proactive team member
• Good programming skills for web and / or mobile applications
• Note: Though predominantly it is day time role. since we cater to the Global market this role requires willingness to work in night shifts.
