Job Position : Senior Program Manager

Job Description :

As a Senior Program Manager you will manage programs and you are the connection between customer, partners, product management, sales and engineering to ensure successful completion of projects.
•The programs can be of medium to high complexity involving an end to end solution delivery to customers.
•The end to end solution comprises of one or more products e.g.
•STB Middleware delivery and integration, Conditional Access, and Broadband products.

Responsibilities
•Making and tracking the detailed project or program plan with associated dependencies, risks and issues.
•Take a proactive role from requirement capturing till the final acceptance and handover of the project to support teams.
•Work with 3rd parties, pre-sales engineers, solution architects, integration engineers, product managers and test managers.
•Ensure the projects are delivered as per agreed time lines and high quality.
•Own the project plan and statement of work agreed with customer and internal teams.
•Ensure smooth and professional communication to customers and internal teams.
•Responsible (in consultation with solution architect) for identifying any project dependencies/risks and highlighting them to stake holders on a regular basis.

•Proactive and self motivated.
•Good logical and analytical skills with the ability to absorb multiple requirements, provide analysis and then provide a practical solutions that meet the customers’ needs.
•Good presentations skill to small to medium sized groups.
•Good documentation and reporting skills.
•Competent user of the Microsoft suite of Office applications including Microsoft Visio and Project.
•Knowledge of the broadcast industry with respect to workflow, operation and technologies.

Experience
•12+ years of total experience preferably in STB Middleware domain and operations of traditional broadcast engineering, conditional access, customer care & billing and IT operations
•Atleast 5 years of program management with 3 years in a broadcast related business – either vendor or broadcasters
•Technical and/or Engineering background
•Formal project management certification e.g. PMP, Prince desired
