Job Position : Senior Engineer /Engineer

Job Description :

The Senior Engineer /Engineer is a skilled and experienced software developer responsible for the detailed design, implementation, and testing of subsystems and system components.
•A Senior Engineer /Engineer is able to build a wide variety of software subsystems and components efficiently and effectively, given only a requirements specification and constraints.
•A Senior Engineer /Engineer is able to develop and maintain these subsystems and software components in complex, multi-vendor, multi-platform environments.

Responsibilities.
•Interact with technical team, technical lead, business analysts and project managers to understanding project requirement & and technical requirements
•Design and document applications and its various modules
•Ensure high quality releases through appropriate QC and QA activities
•Participate in technical discussions / reviews
•Support management of the team’s technical infrastructure (e.g., repository, build system, testing system) under guidance from the project leaders.
•Works collaboratively and professionally with other associates in cross functional teams to achieve goals
•Apply a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on the right priorities in developing solutions in a timely fashion

Skills
•Must have good understanding of SDLC phases of application development
•Should have good understanding OOPS concepts and exposure to data structures, design patterns, design and architecture of web-based applications
•Should be able work independently with minimal guidance.
•Should be able work independently with minimal guidance.
•Should have strong conceptual understanding of .NET language concepts
•Hands-on development experience of ASP.Net/MVC/ADO.Net/ Web Services and writing SQL Queries.
•Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate technology concepts to non-technology personnel
•Ability to maintain quality levels while multitasking
•Minimum of 3 years experience (5 years for senior engineer)in designing and developing web applications using latest MS.NET technology
•Experience in successfully delivering software projects in a variety of domains, such as retail, financial services and procurement under time/cost pressures
•Undertaken multiple projects for in-depth understanding of business requirements and sought clarifying questions to understand them better
•Experience in agile methodology approach and project management principles
•Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent
•Microsoft certifications such as MSCD etc (preferred, but not necessary)
