Job Position : Senior Associate - Valuations

Job Description :

The role of a Senior Associate in Valuations would include providing support to engagement leader on a valuation assignment.
•His / Her role would be to, under leadership of engagement leader, interact with clients, carry out research efforts for the job, help the leader in carrying out valuation computations, writing the report and getting a review done by the partner.

Responsibilities
•Execute the work on a multiple client base. Assume near independent responsibility for smaller clients
•Develop rapport with middle layers of client management
•Ensure compliance with risk management strategies, plans and activities.
•Understand the concept of risk management and bring to focus risk issues on client assignments and take issues to the notice of the manager/supervisor
•Support knowledge sharing efforts and continually improve processes so that the work team can capture and leverage knowledge
•Begin to identify new opportunities for existing clients and communicates to manager
•Network internally within the peer group and other levels in the firm in order to gain understanding of issues that may impact issues with his clients

Experience
•3 –6 years of relevant post qualification experience, including experience in the financial sector with experience in Valuations.
•High team orientation
•Good communication both written and oral (including report writing)
•Analytical skills
•Strong Financial modeling skills
•Should be very conversant with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
•Significant amount of initiative

Preferred
•Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with the Big 4 CA firms or with reputed Investment Banks

Qualification
•CA or MBA (preferably from a premier institute) with a good academic background
