Job Position : Commercial and Risk Manager
Job Description :
Work with Companies Sales Force to respond to RFP/RFI/RFQs
•Provide regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and reporting for bid-management including various models like PPP, BOOT, BOT etc.
•Prepare multi-year cost/pricing models to include hardware/software, labour, materials, subcontracts, and write descriptive pricing volumes
•Support in overall solution design and collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders like legal, finance etc and external stakeholders like consortium partners, OEM suppliers etc
•Assess any risks associated with the project and identify steps to mitigate the risks
•Prepare standard RFP response documents like Non-disclosure agreement, consortium agreements etc.
•Prepare pre-bid queries related to the overall rfp and the commercial proposal specifically.
•Identify and assess the winning criteria like lowest bid, Quality and cost based selection etc and identify areas which increase the winning probability like past experience, quality process, project team commercial optimization etc
•Create and conform to the internal bid management processes
•Perform analysis of the various IT components to optimize the overall solution proposed and the commercials.
•Ensure compliance with government contracting regulations
•Give technical solution presentation to the clients
•Responses to Client Queries and Request for Clarifications relating to commercial proposals
•Design complete end-to-end infrastructure solutions to meet client requirements
•Developing the complete costing, staffing requirements for the opportunity
•Document the solution proposal at the required level of details
•Prepare Solution Brief & Strategy and present to Companies Stakeholders and Management
•Engage with OEMs on need basis
•Engage with the line of services throughout the RFP/RFQ lifecycle and lead the solution team in developing the technical solution
•The Infrastructure Solution Manager acts as the single point of contact for Companies Business Development working with various Companies Divisions and Verticals supporting new business development needs relating to infrastructure services.
Skills
•Candidate should understand different dimensions of RFP response such as legal terms, commercial terms, feature compliance, supporting document types
•Strong Excel, PowerPoint and financial modelling skills
•Broad understanding of the competitive scenario and the pricing practise involved in the IT industry
•Requires an understanding of indirect cost pools, forward pricing projections, bid multiplier rate analysis etc
•Excellent Excel (Macro/VBA experience will be an advantage) and PowerPoint Skills
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight, short-term deadlines
•Excellent analytical thought processes, and ability to leverage analytical tools such as databases, spreadsheets, etc.
•Understanding of various IT components, environments and product types
•Understanding of reference architectures for Data Centers, Servers, Storage, Networking, Security and Software
•Understanding of taxes applicable on various IT and Non-IT components supplied as a part of the solution proposed
•Understanding of the overall project experience of the organization across projects
•Understanding of implementation and operational requirement of RFP
•Demonstrates Leadership and takes complete ownership of RFP response
•Well versed with Account Management, Costing/Pricing strategies, methodologies
•Well versed with complete bid cycle, project management with a strong technical background
•A Team player, self driven person who brings thought leadership and guides the SMEs
•Excellent Communication/Presentation Skills (Both Written and verbal)
•Should have awareness of IT trends/ Industry players
