Job Position : Release Engineer

Job Description :

Responsibilities:

• Participating daily releases -deployment on QA & Production environment

• Creating prepare/build by integrating different dev branches in prepare branch

• Handling deployment and merging issues

• Automation build and release process by using phing, shell script etc

• Configuring and maintaining Continuous Integration tools



Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Release Management and tools

• Experience in Automation of Build & Release Process

• Experience in establishing and configuring CI tools (Bamboo/Jenkins)

• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be a team player, and manage change effectively

• Good Understanding of ITIL Framework

• Agile/Scrum working practice is a plus



Technical Skills/Knowledge Required:

• Hand-on repository management GIT and/or SVN

• Linux Administration

• Good understanding CI tools Like Bamboo/Jenkins

• Build tools Phing/ANT

• Coding Knowledge in Perl/Shell Script

• DB Knowledge (MySQL preferred)

• Good to have development knowledge with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP)
