Job Position : Purchase Head

Job Description :

Keeping and maintaining a record of all the points of sale of the company and its customers
•Alerting/Procuring new equipment when the stock is running low and only based on a well optimized existing assets portfolio; communicating with the suppliers and repair centres.
•Controlling stock efficiency, transit efficiency between premises and repair centres performance
•Managing the asset’s lifecycle to ensure optimal return on investment
Providing relevant figures and statistics for top management decisions.
•Responsible for the development of purchasing strategy, the negotiation and management of purchasing contracts, including category management of contracts, usually for several large areas, groups or departments
•Responsible for establishing best commercial practices, reduction of purchasing costs and the reduction of suppliers
• Responsible for the quality of purchasing services and for monitoring and reviewing performance against contracts as well as elimination of non-performance
• Identify and drive improvements for efficient and effective purchasing processes and systems
•Ensure coordination between local and global contracts in order to deliver real business benefits
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies across the organisation
•Develop and maintain relationships with major suppliers, market partners and customers

Competencies
•Expertise in technical/electronic or IT/Hardware area
•A purchasing professional with experience of managing the negotiation and deployment of global supply and complex contracts
•Experience of managing and delivering real improvements in a matrix organisation
•Demonstrable experience of purchasing best practice and of implementing these practices through process and systems changes
• A good team leader with experience of creating a global purchasing community
•Experience of managing in a multi-national environment

Experience
•3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing or commercial in electronic area or similar fitting

Qualification
•BE (IT/Electronics)
