Job Position : Marketing Manager

Job Description :

Implements marketing strategies and plans effectively.
•Develops and implements marketing plan, to achieve business plan objectives
•Conducts investigative research to assess brand image, market share and growth opportunities.
•Manages advertising, launch and promotional activities and brand development of product assigned. Monitors sales performance and effectiveness of marketing activities.
•Aligns with the marketing team to customize strategy as per local needs.
•Provides as needed upstream marketing support for New Product Development

Responsibilities
•Marketing strategies and plans.
•prepare and implement product specific marketing plan and activities based on franchise and directions and objectives in line with the strategic plan
•Develop innovative ideas for customer cost containment to support sales initiatives within product.
•Work with sales management to convert marketing plans into sales plans
•Sell marketing plans to sales team and ensure that necessary resources (promotional material, instruments, stocks), are available.
•Track progress of plans and their impact on business and implement corrective actions in consultation with sales/franchise/account managers.
•Develop an understanding of market size, structure, dynamics and market drivers through
•Intensive customer contact.
•Plan and execute marketing programs, advertising campaigns and promotion.
•In close partnership with Strategic Marketing team, support New Product Development Team with necessary local new product user needs generation support

Decision Making Capacity
•Marketing Manager (MM) contributes to the definition of the strategy and companies Orthopaedics brand planning
•MM oversees all hiring, training and performance of personnel involved in Marketing
•MM works very closely with Sales and GM to develop segmentation and 4Ps strategy for increasing company Orthopaedics Revenue and Profit
•MM is accountable for pricing strategy and defining pricing corridors for company\'s Orthopaedics products
•MM will liase with Medical Education team to develop company Orthopaedics Scientific Advisory Board
MM is expected ~20% of their time in the field to develop relationships with KOLs, with individual accounts and co-traveling with sales personnel or visiting distributors.

Qualification
•Graduate (Engineering/Business Degree Preferred) with MBA/PGDBA

Experience
•10 years of experience in Medical device
