Job Description :
The Senior Manager position is responsible for leading a dedicated team of professionals and executing deliverables to drive value to company clients.
•The Senior Manager primarily has ownership for a team consisting of practice areasdedicated to the EMEA business.
•The position requires managing best-in-class delivery standards through responsiveness, attention to detail, overall quality of execution, industry knowledge and superlative end-client experience.
Responsibilities
•Team building, leadership and management
•Taking direct responsibility for managing performance and outcomes for a group of team/practice managers across various sectors supporting the research initiative for EMEA business
•Building, managing, motivating and coaching a staff of new and tenured professionals located in Gurgaon, India.
•This includes overseeing day-to-day operations, quarterly performance evaluations, professional development,monitoring and developing quality standards and developing best practices in project execution.
•Creating and maintaining a trusted partnership with regional Practice Area Leaders across offices such asDublin and London.
•Demonstrating and encouraging a transparent and highly impactful culture of communication and sharing of best practiceswithin a matrix organization.
•Proactively leading on best practices in talent acquisition, skills development, career management, succession planning and retention, aligned to the business vision.
•Helping grow a robust company product offering – our Councils
•Ensuring excellent quality on core activities of recruiting, match-making and project execution support with adherence to company client-service and compliance standards.
•The Senior Manager should develop a keen sense, over time, of the ideal, solutions and experts appropriate for specific client requests working with experts across a variety of practice areas including HC, CGS, EI, TMT, LERA, FBS, RE and CS in order to arrive at the most appropriate solutions to suit client projects.
•Identifying, building, maintaining and driving growth of populations relevant to servicing across practice areas and where possible,co-launching campaigns and initiatives designed to extend the reach of the company Councils in the relevant sectors and win expert loyalty to the company consulting platform.
•Lead, innovate and work with the India Research Operations leader and EMEA regional business head on strategic efforts to support the growing business as well the specific gap areas in the current councils.
•A key initiative would be to lead and bolster the strategic recruiting initiative across PAs for the region
•Understand and proactively support on training and development efforts for the current team and new hires
Commercial leadership
•Working closely with Practice leaders, and client-facing colleagues and to ensure the delivery of the highest quality solution in the most efficient manner by the client-facing team in EMEA
•Providing internal franchise expertise to key company business stakeholders – driving expansion of utility of team capabilities
•Working closely with leading members of the company expert network and multiple internal departments to identify and drive major firm initiatives designed to grow revenue from the team and overall company product offerings.
•Developing an understanding of clients, how investment and non-investment focused clients use company and train all team members
Skills
•8-10 years of experience in one or multiple fields in the Practice Areas with a focus on quality of service delivery, councils management, network development, workflow management and dealing with remote experts, industry leaders, clients or stakeholders.
•Experience in working across industries and sectors, plus significant ongoing curiosity about trends and personalities in the different sectors
•Success working in complex multi-tasking, multi-cultural environments with a great flair for working with people to drive results
•Demonstrated excellencein an operations and project management role
•A successful track record in contributing to the building ofa business unit within a larger organization, especially in managing small-medium pools of young professionals
•Success in a business built upon a two-sided marketplace (e.g., an exchange, software platform, or executive search model)
•Strong and mature people management skills and experience handling exceptions and scenarios that require strong decision making skills aligning with the firm’s vision
