Job Position : General Manager – Vineyard Operations & Viticultur

Job Description :

Planning and Management of vineyard activities
•Implement various protocols to achieve set quality standards / crop yield
•Co-ordination with Winery Operations
•Training farm workers as per the Company standards and practices
•Be updated on the latest science and research in viticulture
•Responsible for vineyard budgeting and P & L
•Drive Sustainability, minimum chemical use
•Lead Research & Development on new varietals –clones and root stocks
•Steadily improve vineyard and grape quality, working closely with winemaking team.
•Develop strategy to ensure long term stability of grapes supply to match company’s sales goals.
•Achieve quality and production targets from Contract farmers

Skills
•The Candidate Must have experience in Grape Growing/ Grape Industry on Large Grape Fields.
•International Candidates are Preferred. Experience of Irrigation System Handling in Vineyard will be Preferred.
•2 Years Contract will be made with the candidate. Shared Accommodation & Shared Vehicle will be provided to the candidate.

Experience
•8-10 Years in Vineyards/ Agriculture

Qualification
•M.Tech/ B.Tech (Agriculture), Doctorate of Viticulture, Agriculture/Viticulture Background.
