Job Description :

Accounts Payable/Receivables
•Reconciliations and Schedules
•Continuous process improvement by establishing robust systems, processes and controls
•Fixed Assets Accounting

Responsibilities
•Accounts Payable - Processing of Supplier/Employee bills/reimbursements accurately and within the agreed TAT/Credit period in Oracle Financial Accounting system.
•Accounts Receivables - Daily Premium recognition through interface reconciliation.
•Reconciliation with Banks, Vendors, Customers, Interfaces, Source systems
•Reconciliation of customer collections (cash, cheques, cards, ECS) with banks, Aggregators & Internet payment gateways.
•Identifying cheques dishonor and update successful/dishonored collections in Policy Admin System.
•Making General Ledgers schedules - Assets, Liabilities, Income & Expenses
•Ensuring correction deduction of TDS/WCT and compliance to lower deduction tax withholding certificates submitted by vendors, TDS/WCT deposit & Issuing TDS/WCT certificates & filing of return.
•Service Tax input credit, levy on output, Input/output on Reverse charge mechanism, and reconciliation with Income/Expense.
•Closure of tickets & service requests and handling internal/external customer queries.
•Fixed Assets capitalization, retirement of asset, FA schedule, and reconciliation between SL & GL.

Skills
•Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
•Knowledge of procure to pay, order to cash.
•Knowledge of Fixes Assets Accounting.
•Knowledge of modern banking systems - Net-banking, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, ECS, collections via Credit/Debit cards using POS/Internet payment gateway & Aggregators.
•Handling high volume reconciliations in Oracle/Excel.
•Experience of working on Oracle Financials.
•Proficient in Excel, should be capable of handling large volume of data and apply advanced formulas
•Basic understanding of laws and statutory regulations pertaining TDS, Service Tax and IRDA.
•Strong Customer and Quality focus.
•In depth experience of managing operating aspects in a related high business transaction volume environment.
•Financial and commercial acumen.
•Analytical and problem solving ability.
•Good communication, interpersonal skills.

Qualification
•M.Com/B.Com supplemented by further relevant professional study / qualification.
•Preferably 3-5 years of work experience in the area of operating finance environment in an insurance, e-commerce, IT, FMCG or Services industry.
