Job Position : Developer - PHP

Job Description :

Develop new sites using Zend Framework.
•Assist the Lead Developer in shaping and implementing the Zend platform strategy for the business
•Collaborate closely with the Lead Developer focusing on the scaling and resilience of Future’s high profile and high-traffic sites
•Create bespoke plugins and developing modules for Zend Framework.
•Maintain existing sites
•Liaise and interface with stakeholders
•Document technical and functional specifications
•Ensure that we meet commercial go-live deadlines.
•Other ad-hoc duties as required

Skills
•Strong understanding of object-oriented PHP
•Experience in PHP applications in a UNIX/Linux environment.
•Experience with PHP Zend (MVC) Framework with at least one live project is required.
•Zend Framework Certification a Plus.
•Proficiency with Jquery, Ajax, JavaScript, HTML, XML and CSS.
•Strong Object Oriented Programming skills.
•Experience writing test suites using PHP Unit.
•Experience building applications within NetBeans a plus.
•Candidate must be confident in their skills, be willing to advocate for their approach and yet, collaborate and negotiate with other strong-minded individuals.
•Must be consultative and very good at figuring out solutions to technical challenges.
•Motivated self starter, with a natural curiosity of programming with strong work ethic.
