Operations Head - Snacks (AVP Level) Job Profile Summary

This position shall be responsible for entire operations of Snacks Division including new product development, vendor development and management, supply chain management, etc

Candidate profile summary
Qualified Engineer (Mechanical / Operations) preferably with MBA. Should have experience of about 12 to 15 years preferably in FMCG / Food industry. Candidate having exposure to international markets shall be preferred

Age group -35-40 Years

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop business plans in co-ordination with international and India sales heads for different markets
Ensure availability of products as per business plan in terms of volume, value, SKU
Plan new products as per requirements of regional sales teams based on consumer preferences for both international and Indian markets
Prepare new product development calendar and deliver them as per targeted schedules
Work out feasbibility study about new products including commercial / product costing
Carry out test marketing of samples of new products before launch
Coordination with internal stakeholders for packaging, legal approvals, etc and ensure timely availability of new products
Make suitable innovations in existing products as per marketing requirements
Identify potential vendors and do detailed capability study
Ensure production of products at vendor sites in terms of volume and quality
Inventory management at vendor sites in terms of raw material, packaging material, finished goods
Timely dispatches of finished goods to distribution centres / distributors
Ensure legal compliance at vendor\'s end in terms of certifications, quality norms, food laws, legal metrology, etc
Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
Good communication skills
Strong leadership and team building skills
Excellent planning skills; should be able to break activities for better control and planning / monitoring; strong follow-through skills
Strong vendor management skills and exposure to best shopfloor management skills
Good exposure to product innovation and product in-sight
