Job Position : Senior Manager Web Development for Mobile Enhanced

Job Description :

Interacts with internal customers to understand business requirements. Leads discussions with team to evaluate feasibility, technical specifications, cost-benefit analysis, etc. Drives development of solution architecture. Analyzes test results post developmental testing. Oversees go-live and guides troubleshooting. Leads a team through expertise in most or all areas within Software Development.

Be responsible for capacity and staff planning for new development/releases

Analyze user/business requirements and translate them into GUI specifications

Main Interface for web portal applications portfolio with stakeholders in order to determine their (evolving) needs

Analyze and provide High or Low level estimation for new projects/opportunities

Drive a small development team in Agile/scrum environment (Scrum master)

Design and develop GUI application (design, development, unit test and regression test)

Mentor and support less experienced designers/developers

Insure quality delivery up to production environment

Support production environment

Major Responsibilities: Assist/guide user in refining/defining their requirements with emphasis on User

Experience design

Create High Level Architecture, system specification document

Create sequence diagram or provide input

Create GUI sketches and User Interface prototype with focus on User Interface ergonomic/Experience

Participate to the service definition/creation to be implemented as part of the Model Store View Controller Create/participate to the Model Store View Controller definition

Test delivery: plan and execute functional test, participate to integration test and support user during acceptance test

Create automated regression test suite

Prepare documentation and training for operations and users

Provide suggestion to improve products, deliveries and processes

Develop new software based on user requirements and design specifications

Support/mentor development team during implementation

Conduct architecture and code reviews

Provide deliverables for RFS and post implementation support

Production support application when issue raised by user or tech support: analyze, find root cause and implement solution

KPI:

Provide team leadership administrative task as and when required.

Communicate with stakeholders on a regular basis to get their feedback

Insure quality before internal delivery to business analyst or other stakeholders for testing

Be the SME/SPOC for owned application

Responsible for team deliveries and web portal architecture

Challenge customer requirements to insure proper quantification of requirement added value to the system

Qualification:

Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent

Excellent knowledge of Java script, HTML5, Cascade style Sheet, User Interface/User Experience DesignExcellent knowledge of EXTJS, DOJO, JQUERY tools

Excellent knowledge of web portal/server technologies

Good knowledge of Java and object oriented concept, n tier architecture

Good knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and Resource Oriented Architecture

Good knowledge of SQL (preferably Oracle 10g +)

Good knowledge in GUI automation test

Exposure to Linux/Unix environment

Mobile Telecom business knowledge

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years in Web GUI application development in Javascript, HTML5

Minimum of 5 years in User Experience Design

Minimum of 5 years in design/development of Web GUI in ntier architecture using SOA/ROA

Minimum of 5 years in DOJO, EXTJS, JQUERY tools

Minimum of 5 years in SQL environment preferably in Unix/Linux environment

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a team leader preferably in an Agile development environment Integration & verification exposure

Skill (top 5):

Strong analytical and decision making abilities in ambiguous working environment

Strong Web design/development ability combined with strong technical java skills

Strong leadership abilities with focus on results.

Good communication skills (English written and spoken)
