Job Position : Asst./Mgr New Product Development

Job Description :

Conceptualize, design and develop diagnostic products based on the marketing research and observations from the marketing team

Responsibilities
•Strategize, design and develop new products complying with all requirements-both technical and regulatory.
•Manage, Monitor, coach and develop and a team of design engineers
•Partner with the marketing team for customer visits, presentations, etc.
•Preparation of simpler design layout drawings and detail drawings.
•Customer surveys (meeting with customers to find as which products fits in); surveys parts-lists.
•Analytical design calculations, Solid works/CAD development; carrying out or getting carried out modifications to the product etc.
•writing of proposals and reports, reports for feasibility studies, liaison with other departments (like purchase/after sales) on multi-discipline projects and with clients.
•Presentations to clients on work carried out for test market etc.
•Plans own activity within a project, records and help monitors the costs and contributes to the first line control of own activity.
•Responsible for all aspects of product design, development and management.
•Partner with the purchase team for sourcing components, dealing with suppliers and the strategic design of new and revised products.
•Interact with the manufacturing team to discuss the manufacturing capability, viability and prototype creation.
•Will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the company’s product range in the ERP (Oracle).
•Fully responsible for design validation and product quality, including testing products and the continual improvement of products to enhance durability, serviceability and sustainability (in co-ordination with QC).
•Should be exposed to the aspects of business management and the implementation and maintenance of design and company procedures with good sense of aesthetics.
•Responsible for implementation, maintenance and constant improvement of the design related ISO/IEC quality system procedures. (to co-ordinate with Works for such matters).

Skills
•B.E/B.Tech (Bio-medical Engineering). M.Des preferred
•E.g.: (MS Office-Excel/word), ERP or Oracle: Solid works, Auto-CAD
•Experience in CE compliance
