Job Position : Manager – Crew Scheduling
Job Description :
Complete supervision of working of crew scheduling department and accountable for the day of operations
•Ensure uploading of various reports within stipulated timelines
•Ensure compliance of FDTL/ Expiry under DGCA regulations & company policy
•Hire, train, and counsel crew scheduling staff as required
•Ensure accuracy of the crewmember payroll and it’s on time release to HR department by 5th day of the month
•Analysis and reporting various trends in terms of crew productivity and provide effective solutions
•Ensure team development by assisting them in need and identifying areas of development and taking action as required.
•Filing of all exceedence reports to Flight safety within 24 hours
•Assist in roster planning exercise
•Analyze and give monthly feedback to planning team to enhance the roster planning process
•Must be able to perform the above mentioned essential duties in a satisfactory manner in an environment with a moderate noise level and fluctuating temperature levels.
•Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced operational requirement where multi-tasking is the general norm.
•Ability to perform analyses of low to moderate levels of complexity, cooperate with peers, crewmembers, and supervisors of diverse nature who may hold divergent views.
•Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
•Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints of the customers, regulatory agencies, and, or members of the business community.
•Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
•Ability to understand and accomplish dynamic tasks through methodical, analytical, and systematic thought processes.
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations and procedure manuals.
•Ability to speak effectively in one-on-one situations, with customers or Company Team Members.
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
•This includes the ability to compute discounts and percentages.
•Ability to understand basic concepts of math, permutation/ combination, DGCA rules, AICs etc.
•Be aware of and comply with his / her safety responsibilities and accountabilities as laid down in the company SMS Manual, Chapter Safety Policy and Objectives.
•Min 5 Years of Crew Control Experience
•Good knowledge of Cabin Crew and Flight Deck FDTL, Fluency in Excel
•Good Communication Skills, Team Player, Quick thinking and decision taking capability.
