Job Position : Server Admin - Linux

Job Description :

Educational Qualification:- B.Tech in Computer / Electronics Engineering or MCA

Experience: 6 - 9 years

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Installation & configuration of multiple flavors of Linux like Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL etc.

• Able to work on file system integrity, file system partition management

• Configuring of NFS, SAMBA, NTP, VNC, X server, LDAP, Apache etc., Linux modules

• Updating system libraries on servers, installation and upgrade of packages on Linux servers

• Should have experience on Backup

• Must have good troubleshooting skills

• Must have worked in virtualization environment like VMWare.

• Must have knowledge of NAS and SAN technology (e.g. NetApp / HP SAN)

• Must have basic understanding of Networking components (Switches & routers)

• Should have worked on mid/high end servers

• Experience of Build environment setup is an added advantage

Behavioral Skills:

• Must have good communication skills

• Good problem solving skills

• Should be good in handling customer service

• Analytical and good presentation skills

• Positive Attitude and Able to work under pressure

• Should have the drive to excel and be a self-motivated/self-starter who can operate with minimal or no supervision
