Job Position : Sr. Manager / DGM Core Network

Job Description :

Core Planning team is responsible to plan, design & optimization of company Core network.
•The network will soon go through end-to-end modernization, after which the network will become IMS/4G enabled.
•Company has strong ambition on data and will venture into broadband technologies like 3G/4G and WiFi in coming future.
•This role has to actively participate in shaping up the network through the transformation phase, guiding the local team/supplier and protecting the customers from unwanted bad experiences during transition through careful planning and follow-up.
•Also this position will support the local team for preparing LTE strategy.

Responsibility
•Support and guide the team and supplier through the end-to-end modernization project of Core network.
•Minimize service interruption through careful planning
•Oversee the IOT process in multivendor environment
•Review current Architecture of PS core network, advise to prepare a future proof architecture to support 4G/LTE, virtualization and access technology convergence
•Identify & analyze Routing techniques, optimization & routing dependency matrix from access layer to Internet Gateway (Virtual routing, i/eBGP, OSPF, MPLS, route leaking, forwarding etc)
•Carry out dimensioning, configuration related audit for PS network elements & suggest solutions for best performance
•Forecast Vs. trend analysis to suggest relevant traffic engineering to support new products as per customer demand
•Develop solution for Integration & planning for various internet and intranet connectivity
•Prepare performance management framework for using in planning/ designing guideline
•Feature analysis & suggestion for new feature deployment to make clear differentiation with competition / efficient operation

Skills
•7+ years relevant experience.
•B.Sc in Electrical and Electronic/Information and Communication Engineering and possesses extensive experience Huawei, Ericsson and NSN core platform
•Solid understanding of protocols in 2G/3G/4G, latest IP based features and interworking
•Experience in planning or optimizing large scale 2G/3G/4G core network and IMS
•Strong insight on new features & protocols on IP routing, switching, Optical networking, Security architecture & policy design
•Project management skill.
•Good understanding of technology & commercial aspect of building & operating backbone network for Mobile & fixed broadband services
•Investigate, Analyze, structural representation of complex areas of network platform
•Analytical skill based on sound knowledge on technical aspects, cost & revenue drivers for future readiness of backbone network to support mobile & fixed broadband services
•Self driven with passion for business & ability to deliver
•Ability to influence decision makers
