Job Position : Plant Hygienist and Food Safety Manager
Job Description :
Leads the establishment and implementation of facility food safety programs that comply with internal policies/procedures and regulatory requirements. Establishes, and provides advisory support to Manufacturing during the executing of the Plant Master Sanitation Program. Responsible for developing and executing facility-wide GMP training.
Requirements:- Food Technologist / B.Sc. in Microbiology, Food/Dairy Science or related scientific discipline
A minimum of 07+ years Food Safety and Quality Assurance experience within a multi-national infant nutrition company producing infant formulas.
Ability to work effectively in a diverse, team-based environment.
Good verbal and written English skills.
Knowledge in Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry.
Experience of budget preparation and planning.
Key Area of Responsibility:- Responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining all food safety programs including cleaning/sanitation, hygiene controls, GMP training and awareness, pest control, environmental monitoring, foreign material mitigation, etc.
Develops and coordinates execution of employee GMP training programs.
Provides support to continuous improvement activities within the supply chain that impact quality, hygiene, and food safety.
Supports operations and provides input on factory hygiene and zoning plans, and overall facility design.
Coordinates activities of HACCP team.
Provides food safety oversight and technical support during new process/product development, and facility expansion/modification.
