Key Qualifications

Experience in working with large data sets

Experience with data modeling, data visualization and data analysis. Min exp : 1-3 years.

Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop/HBase. Min exp : 1-3 years.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, Hive)

Description

In this role you\'ll be responsible for creation and enhancement of statistical and predictive models and algorithms to analyze very large data sets. You will be working with this data to derive insights and improve the quality of the data using spatial and temporal analysis. You will be working as engineer to productize, facilitate and implement the systems needed for the analysis. You must be able to explain and present hypotheses and analysis results to a wide audience in a clear and concise manner.

Additional Requirements

Experience in information retrieval and storage, machine learning, distributed computing is a plus

Working knowledge of Python/Ruby/Javascript is a plus

Fluency in data manipulation languages and tools such as R, SQL, Matlab
