Job Position : Head of ERP (DGM)
Job Description :
Define vision and strategy for ERP & MDM solution area and guide the vision from strategy through execution to solution.
•Participate and set directions in IT application transformation projects on solutions and direction, in particular in the ERP domain.
•Identify possibilities for synergies and standardizations in the Financial IT application area
•Ensure effective use of ERP functionality, tools, templates and methods to meet the desired business process and requirements and minimise investments in customizations.
•Analyse & implement efficient & effective use of ERP controls – Inherent, Application, Interface
•Cooperate closely with IT (D&D, Operations) and oversee aspects of a project life cycle, from initial kick off through requirements, design and implementation phases for projects impacting financial applications.
•Track all ERP, other financial applications & MDM Issues (trivial to high), Risks, Open Items (disagreements, pending decisions) and manage conflicts to closure in a timely manner.
•Build confidence in the end users in making effective use of financial systems through training, process automation, and issue resolution.
•Ensure compliance with SOX/ICFR requirements relating to ERP.
•Driving automations and simplification strategies relating to IT involvement in the Finance function
•Ensuring Finance SOD framework policy/manual is designed, maintained & executed in ERP and/or through manual controls
•Sound Accounting knowledge which supplements the ERP role and capability to independently handle accounting vertical in future
Education
•University degree in Finance.
•Chartered accountant or Cost Accountant
Experience
•10+ years of experience
•Telecom industry experience would be preferred

•Should have industry insight wherein he would be able to bring in Industry best practices
