Job Position : DGM – Partner Management

Job Description :

Responsible for the management of the assigned Key Partnerships with Company.
•Overall strategy / framework for the Company partner mgmt.
•Road map for joint innovation, GTM, bilding common labs etc.
•There are two key areas to this position, both with commercial impact.
•Partner portfolio management & partner performance mgmt.
•Closely working with procurement & finance team for E2E cycle of request to PO & delivering best value for the company

Activities
•Management of Team Partners and the engagement process
•Work with the Partners to define future outcomes for partnership
•Facilitate regular partnership meetings and support partners to achieve mutually determined objectives through in-house expertise, planning workshops, sharing of knowledge & other resources, etc.
•Own Cost reduction opportunities (ELA, Vol discounts etc)
•Own PR PO Process
•Partner performance measurement, review and management
•Inputs to RFP preparation: coordinating with partners on the non-technical discussions, involvement of the commercial teams, Legal and IT, managing vendor finalization, Business Case and CER preparation and PO placement
•Contract management (ongoing and new) – contract review, review T&C
•Liaise with Legal to cover for legal risks from a contract perspective
•Ensure regulatory compliance
•Manage and actively promote, streamlined IT commercial requirements and process.
•Ensure corporate financial practice is adhered to through commercial negotiations.
Analyze IT CapEx and OpEx spend and suppliers; recommend and pursue opportunities to streamline the end to end process •Identify areas where workshops maybe required by Partners/ Internal teams
•Creation and execution of trainings and workshops
•Ensure logical closure
•Put in place a Partner Governance framework
•Converting the outcomes into best practices
•Conduct quarterly reviews with the Partner
•Own end to end annual review exercise and implement partner feedback on the model of support.

Qualifications
•Master degree from a reputed university
•Degree in Material Management/ Supplier Management

Experience
•Greater than 18years of experience, out of which at least 10+ years should be in IT procurement
•Experience in telecommunication/IT industry would be preferred
•Exposure to various tools/platforms related to IT HW, SW & OS will be preferred

Skills
•Experience in SAP (MM) modules
•Knowledge & experience in concepts of Finance
•Planning, Accounting, Charging
•Different types of chargeback models
•Cost drivers & Value on investment
•Ms Office tools
•On the job experience of IT procurement (HW, SW & OS)
•Heading Supplier Management portfolio
•Heading Vendor Performance Management
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Creativity and analytical skills
•Provide continuous leadership, supervision, training and development of department staff ensuring an effective and motivated team.
•Self-starter and ability to drive projects through to completion
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Genuine interest in pursuing a career in Information Technology
•May need to travel for Project related closures
•Ability to handle pressure and execute multiple projects under tight deadlines
