Job Description :

Define and implement software development best practices to deliver the customer projects with superior quality and within agreed timeframe
•To guide, assign and control the assigned development team to develop super scalable SaaS managed application
•Being a hands on technical person, ensure the best practices of software development are being followed religiously and corrective actions taken whenever necessary
•Drive initiatives around continuous improvement, quality and support approaches to improve productivity and efficiency in all areas
•Responsible for the quality, productivity,efficiency and billable utilization of the engineering team
•Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum)

Skills
•Hands on experience of any programming language, preferably Java or Demandware
•In depth knowledge and practical experience of website frontend development (HTML, CSS and Javascript)
•Should have working knowledge of Javascript libraries like jQuery, requires etc.
•Min. 3 years of Demandware exp.
•Cross browser and platform development experience, including web development for mobile and tablet
•Must have understanding of site security, site performance and optimization
•Understanding of site usability issues
•Retail and e-commerce exposure
•Good knowledge of design patterns and software development best practices
•Able to define technical approach for development team
•Knowledge of Web accessibility according to WAI guidelines and W3C coding standards
