Job Position : Data Analyst/ Sr.Data Analyst

Job Description :

Conduct custom analytical studies in their entirety, from project inception and design through preparation, analysis and the delivery of reports and presentations.
•Be able to integrate all forms of customer data to drive action for clients; apply data mining and statistical analysis techniques like hypothesis testing, segmentation and modeling to analyze large amounts of data using SAS, WPS, and SQL
•Provide support in data collection, validation and QA; forge relationships with internal and external clients and pro-actively provide recommendations that drive incremental value
•Mine large consumer level databases and other data sources for insights and analyze data sets using our insight tools such as SAS
•Distill insights form the analysis to offer business recommendations by identifying meaningful customer indicators and trends
•Ensure work is disciplined and adheres to quality control procedures
•Support the development and launch of new products and services; Present analysis and recommendations to our clients
•Identify opportunities for insight innovation or efficiency improvements
•Working through different phases of the project/proposals/point of views
•Defining data requirements for understanding the business problem
•Clean, aggregate, analyze, interpret data and carry out the necessary analysis
•Contribute towards solution/methodology designing – interpreting business problem in
•Development of statistical/econometric models and suitable hypothesis
•Conduct quality reviews and check of models/solutions produced by analysts/co-workers
•Bring out key insights/recommendations from the analysis for the client engagement
•Managing pieces of the engagement and working with other consultants, managers and client POCs
•Support the development and maintenance of proprietary tools/techniques and in other capability development activities
•quantitative terms and devising statistical solution for the problem

Skills
•Good knowledge of analytical techniques. Specifically working knowledge of concepts such as clustering, segmentation and time-series (i.e. regression, forecasting)
•Good communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
•Technical expertise : SAS/WPS, SPSS, R, Tableau, SQL
•2-4 years experience in an analytical role Fluency in SQL/SAS and ability to query large data sets usin database management software (SQL) and database mining software (SAS) Proficiency in strategically using data to achieve insights and goals .Good analytical skills and rock solid problem solving skills are a necessity Good communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
•Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
•Self-Starter Critical thinking and a relentlessly inquisitive nature mindset and able to deliver results under minimal supervision Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc)
•Bachelors/Master degree in Statistics/Econometrics/ Economics/Operations Research or any other Quantitative discipline from a reputed institute
