Job Position : Head of Asset Management – Islamic Banking

Job Description :

Responsible for the development and management of the Asset Management business in a highly professional manner.
•Carry out the vision laid out for the Asset Management Department as regional market leader
•Develop strategy and effective execution plan for the business
•Launch new funds/ products under Islamic banking umbrella
•Lay down policies and procedures for managing the funds and portfolios
•Monitoring the performance of the funds and portfolios
•Ensure proper systems and process for running the activities of the unit.
•Management of the Unit’s day-to-day activities.
•Establishing and maintaining Asset Management relationships.
•To facilitate operational areas to perform the highest level of efficiency and undertake problem solving exercises when needed.
•Prepare the Budget for the year.

Skills
•Formal Post Graduate qualification and a professional qualification such as CA / CFA.
•10+ years industry experience
•Exposure to Regional Asset Management Industry.
•Good communication skills
•Good leadership / interpersonal relations.
•Ability to work under pressure.
